Deer Ancestor-Spirit of Mi'kmaq
Not independently attested as an ancestor-spirit of Mi'kmaq folklore. Mi'kmaq tradition honors deer as one of the game animals who give themselves to hunters under the netukulimk ethic, but no deer ancestor-spirit appears in the documented Glooscap cycle, which features Muin the bear, Apistanewj the marten, Gipu the eagle and other named animal beings.
