Deer Deity of Inuit
Among the Inuit of the Arctic regions, the Deer Deity is a powerful caribou-spirit being that oversees the great herds upon which human survival depends. Unlike southern deer spirits, this entity is intrinsically tied to the harsh realities of tundra life, controlling the migration patterns of caribou and the abundance of game animals.
