Dievas is the primordial supreme sky god in Baltic mythology, worshipped by ancient Lithuanians, Latvians, and Old Prussians as the creator of the universe and ruler of all deities. His name derives from the Proto-Indo-European sky father *Dyēus, making him cognate with the Vedic Dyaus Pita, Greek Zeus, and Roman Jupiter.
