Dwarf
Dwarfs (cannibal dwarfs) are small but dangerous humanoid beings in Arapaho folklore. In the Nihancan story, a small dwarf armed with a bow and arrow was mocked by Nihancan the trickster for his small size and tiny weapon. The dwarf challenged Nihancan to shoot his bow—when Nihancan tried, he found it impossibly heavy. The dwarf then shot an arrow with incredible power, splitting a boulder in half.
