Eagle Deity of Kikuyu
Not independently attested as a deity: Kikuyu religion honors Ngai (Mwene Nyaga), the supreme god of Mount Kenya, and 'Nyaga' in his name refers to the whiteness of the ostrich, not an eagle. Hawks and eagles appear in general East African omen lore, but no eagle deity is documented among the Kikuyu, and the description is a generic 'eagle as divine messenger' template.
