Eagle Spirit of Cree
In Cree tradition the eagle is among the most sacred beings: its feathers are a strong spiritual power, gifted to young men in ceremony with tobacco and prayer, and the eagle carries the people's prayers up to the Creator. Eagle whistles are sung with the breath of the Creator during Cree drum ceremonies, honoring the eagle as a spirit of strength and vision.
