Eigigu, 'the moon bride,' is the luminous woman of Nauruan mythology who dwells on the moon, governing its cycles and the tides of the surrounding lagoon. Said to weave baskets of light, she appears radiant in the full moon and is regarded as a benevolent, rhythmic figure in Nauruan cosmology, embodying feminine divinity and the cyclical nature of time.
