El Tunchi
El Tunchi is a nocturnal vampire-like entity from Colombian folklore, particularly in the Amazon and Orinoco regions of the country. Known among indigenous communities of the Colombian Amazon, this spirit is said to attack sleeping victims by biting their necks and draining their blood. The legend blends indigenous beliefs about restless spirits with European vampire folklore introduced during the colonial period.
