Not independently attested. The Ashanti are a West African people (Ghana); elk (Cervus canadensis) are North American/Eurasian. Neither exists in Paraguay. The described being (mudcloth patterns, boubou robes, gris-gris) is explicitly West African, transplanted to Paraguay without basis.
