Elk Nature-Spirit (Burmese)
Not independently attested as an elk nature-spirit in Burmese folklore, and wrongly tagged as Guatemalan. Burma's true nature spirits are the nats — local, tutelary, and animist powers propitiated at shrines — and no nat appears as an elk guarding mountains. Elk do not range in Burma or Guatemala. The record is an evident cross-cultural mashup.
