Elk Nature-Spirit (Burmese)
In Burmese nat worship, the spirit world is divided into sky spirits (akathaso), tree spirits (yokkaso), and earth guardians (bhummaso). An elk nature-spirit belongs to the earth guardians, overseeing mountain forests and the creatures within them. Unlike the 37 Great Nats recognized in official Burmese spirit pantheon, this is a local nat specific to particular mountain regions, venerated by hill tribes and rural communities.
