Eloko

humanoid · Central African Republic · Central Africa

Eloko (pl. Biloko) are forest dwarfs of the Mongo-Nkundo people (DR Congo). They dwell in hollow trees in the densest rainforest, hairless with grass on their bodies, piercing eyes, snouts opening wide enough to swallow a human, and long sharp claws. They guard forest game and rare fruits, ring little bells that cast spells, and eat only human flesh.
