Etügen
Etügen Eke ("Mother Earth") is the supreme earth goddess in Mongolian and Turkic Tengrist mythology. She is the second highest deity after Kök-Tengri (the Eternal Blue Sky) and is considered perpetually virginal. Etügen governs all natural forces and all living beings are subordinate to her. She is the patroness of homeland, nature, fertility, and the cycle of seasons. The name Etügen may derive from Ötüken, the sacred mountain of the ancient Turks.
