Farsakh

Not independently attested in folklore literature. Farsakh is a Persianate unit of distance (the parasang, roughly five to six kilometers), not a Pamiri giant, and the 'giant builder of terraces and fortresses' account is fabricated. The genuine giants of Iranian-influenced Central Asian tradition are the divs of Persian mythology.
