Fladså Trolden
Fladså Trolden (the Fladså Troll) is a giant troll from local folklore in Sydsjælland who once decided to bury the town of Næstved in sand out of spite. He filled a huge sack with sand from the Øresund beach and began carrying it inland toward Næstved. On the way, he stopped at Mogenstrup Kro (Mogenstrup Inn) for a drink. While the troll drank, a clever Nisse crept up to the sack and pricked holes in it with a pin.
