Fox Animal-Spirit of Ashanti
Not independently attested in folklore literature. No fox figure appears in Akan anansesem (spider-story) tradition, whose trickster is Ananse, and the hunting-omen claims are invented. The fox does not hold a developed role in recorded Ashanti animal tales.
