Fox Nature-Spirit (Tupi)
Not attested in Canadian or Tupi folklore. The fox trickster Aguara belongs to the Guarani and Chané peoples of Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil, not the Tupi, and not to North America. In Guarani stories Aguara stole algarroba seeds from Viscacha, outwitted the jaguar, and captured the vulture to obtain its rubber. The Canadian framing is a misattribution.
