Fuath
The Fuath is a class of malevolent water spirits from Scottish Highland folklore, whose name literally translates to 'hate' or 'hatred' in Gaelic. These dangerous entities inhabit the lochs, rivers, and coastal waters of Scotland, particularly in the remote regions of the Highlands and the Hebrides. The Fuath is considered an umbrella classification that includes several specific types of water spirits, such as the Each-Uisge (water horse) and the Tarbh-Uisge (water bull). Unlike the more familiar kelpie, which primarily targets children, the Fuath is known to attack adults without discriminat
