Galone
Galone, the Burmese garuda, is a golden bird-king of Myanmar's Buddhist-influenced cosmology who eternally wars with the nāga serpents. Revered as a protective divinity, his image was mass-tattooed during the 1930 Saya San uprising, when followers believed the galone sigil would shield them from bullets, and he remains a symbol of royal and resistant power.
