Gesar of Ling
Gesar of Ling is the culture-hero of the Tibetan epic: a warrior-prince born in humble guise who grows to unite the kingdom of Ling and slay demons across the Himalayan world. Superhumanly strong and able to shape-shift, he battles evil kings and monsters; his epic is among the longest in the world and is still performed by bards.
