Geser Khan (Geser Bumba Khan) is the heroic ruler of Mongolian legend: an epic warrior descended from the gods who descends to the earth to destroy the demons oppressing the human world. Divine-born, shape-changing, and demon-slaying, he represents the ideal of protective, righteous heroism in the pan-Mongolian Geser epic cycle.
