Gloson
Gloson (Glo-so, 'Glowing Sow') is a Swedish spectral boar with glowing eyes and a saw-toothed ridge along its back, charging at travelers on roads and running between their legs to split them open. A death omen in Swedish folk belief, documented by Hyltén-Cavallius and Ebbe Schön. Related to the Germanic tradition of spectral beasts. The name derives from 'glo' (glow) + 'so' (sow).
