Great Coyote (Mąʼiitoʼí Áłchíní)
Great-Coyote-Who-Was-Formed-in-the-Water is a primordial Navajo trickster-creator of the First World. In the Origin Myths of the Navaho he emerged with First Man and First Woman when Black Cloud and White Cloud joined in the East, part of the company that shaped the emerging world and its sacred directions.
