The Grogoch is a half-human, half-fairy creature from Irish folklore, particularly well-known throughout north Antrim, Rathlin Island, and parts of Donegal. Some traditions say the Grogoch originally came from Kintyre in Scotland before settling in Ireland. On the Isle of Man, similar beings are called phynnodderee.
