Gruvrået
Gruvrået, also called Gruvfrun or Gruvjungfrun, is the guardian spirit of mines in Swedish folklore, especially in the Bergslagen mining district. She is said to walk the tunnels as an elegantly dressed woman with a ring of keys; her dress color was read as an omen, and she rewarded respectful miners with rich ore while punishing swearing and careless behavior in the workings.
