Guri Kunna
Guri Kunna is a troll-woman of the coastal tradition of Froan and the Fosen-Hitra district in Trøndelag. In the best-known legend she is a giantess who dragged the islands of Froan toward Hitra, and her name survives in local place names. The common 'mermaid luring fishermen' framing is a later overlay; the attested figure is a giant troll-woman of the islets.
