Gyrat
Gyrat is the magical horse of the Turkmen epic hero Görogly: a loyal, powerful steed of supernatural speed and endurance who carries his master across the steppe, flies when needed, and warns him of danger. A fixed element of the Görogly cycle, Gyrat represents the steppe horse as faithful companion in Turkmen tradition.
