Harimau Jadian
The Harimau Jadian, or were-tiger, is a shape-shifting creature from Bruneian folklore that transforms between human and tiger form. Unlike Malaysia and Indonesia where real tigers exist, Brunei has no wild tigers, yet several caves are named Sawang Harimau (Tiger's Cave), indicating deep cultural belief in these supernatural beings. The transformation is achieved through spells, charms, or inherited ability. These creatures are usually motivated by vengeance or a need to protect their community, rather than mindless aggression
