Hatsenas Tsimshian
Hatsenas is the Tsimshian bird of good omen, a robin-like messenger sent from heaven and supernatural father of the hero Asdiwal. In the Asdiwal myth he visits a starving widow and her daughter, brings them food, weds the younger woman, and equips his son with magic gifts; Lévi-Strauss read him as a mediator of the middle heavens.
