Not independently attested. No Shona source records a hawk as an ancestor-spirit or as a carrier of prayers to Mwari; the account is unsupported template prose. Shona ancestral spirits are the vadzimu and mhondoro, tied to lions and to clan totems (mutupo) such as the fish eagle, hungwe; the hawk has no such role in documented tradition.
