Witch (Heks)
Heks is the Danish witch: practitioner of folk magic (trolldom), from malevolent hag to wise healer. Often withered old woman with crooked nose, warts, familiar (cat, toad), or deceptive beauty. Brews potions, casts curses, bargains with spirits; magic tied to nature and moon. Vulnerable to iron, holy symbols, own greed. Embodies fear/respect for knowledge outside institutions.
