Hero Twins
The Hero Twins of Navajo tradition are Monster Slayer (Nayénzgani) and Born of Water (Tobadzîschíni), twin sons of Changing Woman. They rid the world of the monsters that plagued it, journeyed to the house of their father the Sun, passed his trials, and returned armed with lightning. They remain the model of the Navajo warrior path.
