Hina
Hina is the great female deity of Polynesia, known across the Pacific as the moon goddess and as the mother of the demigod Māui. Under the names Hina, Sina, and Ina she rules the moon, the making of tapa cloth, and the sea; the Hawaiian word mahina ('moon') is derived from her name.
