Huxhukw Kwakwaka Wakw
Huxhukw is the supernatural crane-like cannibal bird of the Kwakwaka'wakw Hamatsa ceremony, a long-beaked attendant of the Man-Eater spirit. It cracks open the skulls of men to suck out their brains, and its masked dancer joins the crooked-beak and raven cannibal birds in the winter dance of the Cannibal Society.
