Iatiku (Life Bringer)
Iatiku (Life Bringer) is one of the two creator sisters in Acoma Pueblo mythology. She and her sister Nautsiti were born underground at Shipapu and guided by Tsichtinako (Thought Woman). Given baskets containing seeds and animal figurines, Iatiku created the mountains, directions, plants, and animals. She created the Corn Mother and the Kachinas.
