Imehornets underjordiske is a supernatural being from the Ime area near Mandal in Sørlandet, famous for offering the legendary Imehornet drinking horn. According to the classic horn legend (ML 6045), two riders passed the Ime farm and were offered a drink by an underground being who emerged from a burial mound. The being offered a magnificent drinking horn. One rider threw the drink over his shoulder — it burned the hide off his horse where it fell. The riders escaped with the horn.
