Ioi Coast Salish
Io'i is not a Coast Salish figure but the sister of Blue Jay, the trickster of Chinookan tales told at the lower Columbia River. Blue Jay and Io'i travel together in adventure stories in which Io'i repeatedly saves her foolish brother from the consequences of his boasting and meddling.
