Zankallala is a remarkable trickster figure from Hausa folklore, found across the Sahel region including northern Ivory Coast. Despite being only the size of two clenched fists, Zankallala is one of the most powerful beings in Hausa mythology, carrying a snake as a walking stick, wearing a pair of scorpions as spurs, and a swarm of bees as a hat.
