Ìwin are a class of Yoruba spirits, often described as mischievous and elusive forest beings who guard the secrets of the bush and teach wisdom through riddles and illusions. They are said to lure the unwary with playful pranks, and traditional healers may negotiate with them for esoteric knowledge in Yoruba oral tradition.
