Jenglot
Jenglot are small, fist-sized mummified humanoids of Javanese occult tradition, said to be kept in homes where they are fed blood in exchange for wealth and protection. Modern skeptics note that most jenglot are crafted from preserved monkeys, birds, or calves; even so, the figure thrives as a living example of Indonesian animism and occult commerce.
