Jerff
The Jerff (Gulon, 'Glutton') is a beast described in Olaus Magnus's 'Historia de Gentibus Septentrionalibus' (1555), a work of northern European natural history and folklore. It was said to be a gluttonous creature that gorged on carrion until its belly swelled, then squeezed between two trees to vomit so it could eat again; likely an exaggerated account of the wolverine (Gulo gulo).
