Jinn of Jerusalem
Jinn are supernatural beings of pre-Islamic and Islamic tradition — creatures of smokeless fire, invisible to humans, capable of good and evil. In Jerusalem folklore, jinn are associated with ruins, wells, and thresholds, and are believed to inhabit places where people lived before. They are mentioned in the Qur'an and figure widely in Palestinian and Levantine belief.
