Japanese yokai - spider that becomes beautiful woman after 400 Years. Name: '絡新婦' = 'Entangling/Binding Bride' (originally 'whore spider'). Can shapeshift OR IS based on golden orb-weaver spider (Trichonephila clavata). Appears to Prey on handsome young men. Seduction method: beautiful woman lost traveler, widow, or stranger needing help. Invites to home (illusion concealing cave). Offers sake/food/promise of intimacy. Then: binds with Invisible silk threads (strong enough to drop adult), drains life force slowly. Also plays biwa (lute) to mesmerize with music. Near Waterfalls especially - Jōr
