Jutulkloa
Jutulkloa (the Giant's Claw) is a legendary giant associated with a distinctive rock formation on the Fosen coast of Trøndelag. The name combines 'jutul' (a regional variant of jøtul, meaning giant) and 'klo' (claw). According to legend, a jutul who lived in the Fosen mountains reached out his hand to grab a passing ship, but the sun rose and turned him to stone, leaving only his enormous claw-like fingers visible as rock formations along the coast.
