Kalanoro
Kalanoro are Malagasy hairy, fanged dwarfs with backwards feet and glowing red eyes, dwelling in Andoboara Cave and rainforests. They kidnap children, steal crops, and serve as clairvoyant familiars to ombiasa (healers/diviners) who communicate through nasal voice possession. Taboos (fady) imparted via dreams. Some identify them with extinct Vazimba.
