Karakum Serpent
Not independently attested as a distinct serpent of Turkmen folklore. No source confirms a Karakum Desert serpent with earth-shaking power; the Karakum is best known in legend for the Darvaza 'Door to Hell' gas crater and desert water-mirage tales, with no such snake in ethnographic records. The traits recorded appear to derive from modern speculation.
