Kelpie
The Kelpie is a shape-shifting water spirit of Scottish and Irish folklore, inhabiting rivers, streams, and lochs. Typically appears as a magnificent horse with dripping mane, or a handsome man. Predatory: lures travelers to mount, then skin becomes adhesive and it drags them underwater to drown and devour (except liver). Can be controlled by an iron bridle or learning its true name.
