Kibuka is the fearsome war god of the Baganda people, brother of the lake god Mukasa. According to legend, Kibuka was once a mortal warrior of extraordinary strength and military genius. When Buganda was threatened by Bunyoro invasion, Kibuka led the army, fighting with supernatural ferocity. He became invisible to enemies, raining arrows down from a cloud. The enemy fled in terror.
