Komokwa Copper Maker Kwakwaka Wakw
Komokwa (Kumugwe) is the Undersea Chief of the Kwakwaka'wakw, ruler of the ocean world and giver of wealth. He lives in a copper house beneath the sea filled with treasures, owns the salmon and sea mammals, and is the maker of coppers, the most valued wealth of the potlatch; many families trace their riches to him.
