Kowi Anukasha
The Kowi Anukasha are the little people of the Choctaw, spirit dwellers of the forests whose name means 'forest dwellers.' Kindly but quick-tempered, they live in the deep woods and under the ground, and they may help hunters and children; the prankster variant, Bohpoli the 'thrower in the dark,' delights in startling travelers.
